I tried to use wiredmini_recorder in the programmatic environment from the disk -=3d/2ss/A11s(18 Sep 2009 08:34:24 GMT)=- and from the disk -=3d/2ss/A11s(15 Oct 2009 20:27:39 GMT)=-, but there was only video w/o audio.

In the programmatic environment from the disk -=7d/5ss/A29s=- wiredmini_recorder works ok.

In the prorgammatic environment from the disk -=3d/2ss/A11s=- i use the command -=audacity=-(source: file.rpm) and the command -=guvcview=-(source: file.rpm).
These commands give the following information:

Hi there, good luck with this...it looks complicated!

Its useful to know that even the Video Stream works with this cam. Im looking to buy 10 for use with a cybercafe....I would rather the profits not go to Micro$oft though!

The solution may just be a cheap mic...you can pick them up here in the U.K. from the £1 shop.
Puppy Linux's Mission

Sorry, my server is down atm!

Thanks for the solution.
I tried a programmatic environment from the disk -=3d/2ss/A12s=- and it has appeared that wiredmini_recorder works well(but command -=/usr/sbin/alsaconf=- loses this device as in a programmatic environment from the disk -=3d/2ss/A11s=-).

command -=guvcview=- gives the following information:

Code: Select all

bash-3.00# guvcview
guvcview: /usr/lib/libavcodec.so.52: no version information available (required by guvcview)
guvcview 1.1.3
video device: /dev/video0
/dev/video0 - device 1
/dev/video1 - device 2

Init. Microsoft® LifeCam NX-6000 (location: usb-0000:00:02.2-4)
{ pixelformat = 'MJPG', description = 'MJPEG' }
{ discrete: width = 352, height = 288 }
	Time interval between frame: 1/30,
{ discrete: width = 1600, height = 1200 }
	Time interval between frame: 2/15,
{ discrete: width = 1280, height = 1024 }
	Time interval between frame: 2/15,
{ discrete: width = 1024, height = 768 }
	Time interval between frame: 2/15,
{ discrete: width = 800, height = 600 }
	Time interval between frame: 1/30,
{ discrete: width = 640, height = 480 }
	Time interval between frame: 1/30,
{ discrete: width = 320, height = 240 }
	Time interval between frame: 1/30,
{ discrete: width = 176, height = 144 }
	Time interval between frame: 1/30,
{ discrete: width = 160, height = 120 }

For synchronization of recorded video and audio -=mencoder=- command with option '-nobps' can be used.

pmusic 1.4.1

:idea:
The newest version of pmusic 1.4.1 is supposed to work well
with multiple sound cards. I don't know if that will help your situation.
