here is the fluendo codec (file format tar.bz2) which is used to play wma file on ubuntu and other linux operating system. i tried to copy to /usr/lib, but moc (music on console) still cant play wma file. could anybody pls make a pet that make it work? thanks alot.

Mmm, that sounds very very wrong. fluendo is a kludgey royalty-free codec library, and it's not officially used by MOC. The official way that MOC supports WMA is with the ffmpeg library, which Puppy already contains ... but whatever version of MOC you are using would need to have been explicitly compiled with ffmpeg support, and this would result in an ffmpeg plugin being created for MOC. I suggest xhippo (gui) + lamip (backend) -
