Sub_title: Drag & Click version		  
Copy /usr/local/bin/merge-icon to desktop. Drag SFS files to icon. Click on icon to create /mnt/home/merge.sfs . Edit /usr/local/bin/rox-merge
MERGE and FILES directories for more space. (they use /tmp by default)
Edit output directory (/mnt/home) if
not using pupsave or insufficient space.

Good!
One thing:
You assume it is used with pupsave, but without pupsave, /mnt/home is not exists.
you can run a command like 'df /mn/home' to check the /mnt/home is exactly mounted.
You can also check the space.

tried to merge
virtualbox...._500.sfs and gimp..._500.sfs
in manual created mnt/home (testing wary500m07 without pupsave at the moment)
merge is OK but
klicking on the merge.sfs

In Lupu, mksquashfs links to mksquashfs4, although mksquash3 is available. Default setting can be edited.
