Pure Data 0.41.4 (PET or SFS) Subject description: audio programming, vanilla version... |
|
Nihao!
Pure Data its a multimedia programming environment, audio-oriented but not restricted only as an audio IDE. PD its a creation of Miller Puckette, like MAX-MSP (non open source software for Mac and Windows) but open source. This compiled version is the 0.41.4 “vanilla” version... still working into the “extended” version which was created for the community users, added functionalities and libraries...
This are the dependences that you gonna need for PD-0.41.4 (provided, see below):
- Libasound 1.0.16,
- Libjack 0.109.2,
-Tcl 8.4 and
-Tk 8.4.
If another dependence is missing, please tell me.
Everything compiled on LuPu501.
Have fun!!
((Tcl package on here))
NOTE: SEE FURTHER FOR SFS's and THE EXTENDED VERSION.

Compilied on LuPu501.

Hello, some news...
I made a SFS on Quirky 1.2 with this PD and all the deps...
I actually install a lot of PD libraries manually, so i'm not so sure about the need of compile the extended version. Anyway, there is an Ubuntu version of it (still don't try it).
The Link (sorry, its on 4 shared ): http://www.4shared.com/file/ilshnEEC/pd-0414_vanilla_120.html (About 4Mb).
The m5d checksum: 1bf4c9b2ff37a2f8f9cc4c8a1e7a15ce
Tested, builded and working on Quirky 1.2.
Cheers.

Finally somebody uses Pure Data besides me!

'Aparently'? All the program its just a pd patch with a gui !!
Yep, two things:
1- I'm running a SFS on Quirky 1.2 called 'Pd-extended+deps', but its customized (some replacement on the built-in pd-libs and optional deps) and still a little 'buggy'...
Still don't check how does it works on latest LuPu.
2- Its a big file (~30M) and i'm have no clue about why the hell tcl/tk shows that ugly rendered font (i'm also not sure of how to fix it).
I'm not at home now, but i'll post as soon as i can.
Zaijian.

Ok, this is the SFS file, re-builded from the Ubuntu package:
Pd-0.42.5-extended-ubuntu-lucid-i386.deb
It includes this deps in order to have the most features
enabled (stolen from some ubuntu and rpm packs ):
**liblo0ldbl_0.23-2.2
**liblo7_0.26~repack-6
**libquicktime1_1.1.4-1
**libschroedinger-1.0-0_1.0.9.is.1.0.8
**libswscale0_0.5.1-1
**libvorbisfile3_1.2.3-3
**libdirectfb-1.2-0_1.2.8-5
**gsl-1.12-6.el6
**libdv-1.0.0-8.1.el6
**libdv4-32bit-1.0.0-79.112
MD5 Pd-extended-0.42.5+deps.sfs --> 5e8d84d09ab16a169bea6aefa3f2f4d8
Fixed the path error.
