Dear All,
Would anybody be so kind and advise me, please - if EVE would suit as a Desktop Publishing tool for PUPPY as well ?
The thing is that we are thinking on starting with PUPPY and publishing facilities are very important for us.
We have found EVE as a very handy tool to make some materials for students and patients. Thanks a lot to Mr. Barry Kauler for it.
There are some our materials in attachment to this post to show what am I speaking about.
So, can EVE for Publishing be used with PUPPY too ?
Thanking in advance

Puppy2 now has Inkscape, which is a SVG graphics editor.
I believe it can be used for slideshow presentations and animations also.
EVE would have to be completely rewritten for Linux, as it is based on the
Win32 API library -- which is available for Linux, in the form of WINE, but
that is too big (and EVE doesn't run very well with it anyway).
Probably the best thing would be to rewrite it with GTK2, but man, I would have to
set aside almost a year to do it properly!
