Why? Because they've actually acted promplty on our bug reports and have shown a keen interest of seeing their apps in Puppy, plus they've also implemented bugfixes and sugestions from Puppy users.

Mark Tyler has also been very cooperative ... for example, Puppy did not have a really good way to take screenshots, so he added that function to MtPaint (xpaint could take screenshots, but not screenshots that included menus)

Yes, mtPaint and JWM, they have been incredibly responsive authors.
JWM has come a long way since I first looked at it and started prodding for more features. I like what lior2b has done, and MU... so, are we going to give the award to "outside" authors, rather than our "in house" people?

Perhaps including more info under each included program, possibly to include the names of principal developers and website, is a way of rewarding the contributed (and chosen) programs in Puppy. This listing is usually done for every official release.

Btw, if you look at the listed contributors in mtPaint, Puppy Linux, Lobster and Barry are there.

I noticed a distinct lack of the SNACK audio tools, even though they take up a major portion of the menu. Or TCL in general, but SNACK specifically.

How do we campaign for the nomination for the SNACK audio tools? or, anyone who can code in tcl or lua?
