[SOLVED] GRC.com ShieldsUp! reports ports 1-103 CLOSED
GRC.com ShieldsUp! reports ports 1-103 CLOSED not STEALTH. All other first 1056 ports are STEALTH. Easy fix? Or don't worry about it?

See post #92 at my Puppy Linux thread.
Lots of goodies in that thread.

I'm not a security expert in any measure of that word ... but here's something to think about:
a) have you turned on puppy's firewall?
b) are you behind a NAT router? If yes, GRC will probably be testing your router instead of your machine.
cheers!

Also make sure you are slowing yourself with the Tor browser if using Puppy Lucid
In ye olde days we never had a firewall not even in the router
Using Puppy in this way, would still be safer than mainstream
alternatives offer on mobiles or desktops.
Hey I know - let's run as root and not put the Puppy firewall on
and visit every dubious site we can, something might happen . . .
Stay safe
Use Puppy
That's gotta be it. I have a ATT wireless gateway (router). I feel silly thanks.jamesbond wrote:I'm not a security expert in any measure of that word ... but here's something to think about:
