Traditional Chinese support

#1 Post by Quent »

Hi,

I'm sorry, I'm in rather a hurry at the moment. I have to rush off to get some things out of a garage before it is demolished (on a lean after the quake).

I'm in rather a rush (explain later), and I want something that will let me read Traditional Chinese (not necessarily put Chinese into menus) and let me input Traditional Chinese.

What would you recommend? Thanks.
Quentin.

I'm also in a rush, so I'd just point you to the link here http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... eeef452dd1. Hopefully you find what you're looking for.

Thanks. Sorry if I sounded curt. I was wanting to post a couple of cds to a friend from Taiwan. I've probably missed the deadline for them getting it by this weekend, so I'm not really in such a hurry now. Thanks for that.

Do test what Shinobar has done with the international version of Wary. He is all for that every language should be represented so try it out and tell him the result. I trust him to be from Japan so I don't know if he read Mandarin or not. I know nothing of your language.

Have you any clue what this Chinese version of Slax has name in Mandarin?

Compact Distro Linux CDLinux. They claim they have a Chinese forum but I fail to find it I would try google to read how they set up the firewall in that distro. it is based on Slax so maybe I can ask them.

CDL has a mandarin version so maybe you could try out that one too?

I use Google Search on Puppy Forum
not an ideal solution though
