Slab multi-track recording studio compiled for puppy?

#1 Post by ap72 »

Hello all :) ,I've been wondering if anybody has ever ran slab in puppy?,it looks like a nice prog with minimal gui, hopefully if someone has compiled it,it won't need all the resources that somthing like ardour needs, neither ardour, hydrogen, ecasound or rosegarden run in lucid 5.2 without a lot of fiddling and installing libs and dep,I have not had any success getting any of them working but have not tried very hard either,I like open box wm and a minimal gui system and slab looks like it fits the bill.

I forgot to mention the author of slab is also the creator of the bristol synth for linux,I have got that to run but the version I have is very early and is buggy and not very useful soundwise,it's probably improved a great deal by now but I really don't have a use for it at present because all my synth plugins work great in puppy under wine, just as good if not better than windows :)
