BigMikes Puppy Resources and Pet Collection is dead?

#1 Post by BigMike »

I am changing my official site for BigMike's Puppy Linux Resources to:

http://www.puppylinux.us/BigMike/

Thanks to tlhost

Next month I will post my official Pet collection to another site.

Thanks to Saturn's Puppy Repo for having mirrored my pet collection.

I remember when you were collecting everything to set it up the first time. Lot of work to go into it. I hope the move goes well for you.

Glad to be of help....I'm not sure why you are moving your stuff....all your files certainly made the current site very popular...which aided the site owner in his quest to have "THE" site for puppy material.

I just downloaded some xorg drivers from your collection there

Hi BigMike ,

I like the file manager on the .us site...that's the one I used in puppylinux.ca as you already know.

Did you solve the "long file-name" problem?
I always had files that the browser would not display properly with massively long file names.... but Prit tried hard to fix this.

Your thoughts?

Eric

PS..Hi Thom..well done.

To Add:
I liked the default Hiawatha file manager...easy to read and slick. I wonder if Hugo has a stand alone edition for his file manager to use on shared/public servers or for people that want a good looking file manager to use when they need one...just a thought.

Thanks for adding this link tlchost. I've bookmarked it now so I can find it again in the future.
