acx driver for wary 5.1.1 (kernel 2.6.32.28)

The old acx driver has not been updated since 2006 and did not appear to work with newer kernels. I found a patch on the Karmic Ubuntu forum and thought I would try in Wary 5.1.1. To my surprise it actually worked !

Here is the patched source code and pet file.
This driver is for WEP encryption only.

gray, as I reported in the "Extras for Puppy 5.1" thread, there has been further development of the ACX driver in recent years. The latest git source code now supports WPA encryption. See here -
