Now, as you can see, I'm heavily compiling new apps for Puppy 3.01 series (when possible, statically, so any puppy series can benefit of these binaries), unfortunately, on my new refurbished machine, HP d530 c, wireless is not working (the same wireless adapter NETGEAR WG311v3, works fine in Puppy 3.01 and 4.2.1 via ndiswrapper), I would be happy to support 4.3.1, if I'll able to solve wireless problem

What am I missing? In this thread, about bringing back Puppy 4.31, everyone is ignoring Puppy 4.3.2-SCSI 2.6.30.5 full older modem support. http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=451886#451886

There was a Puppy 4.32 project, but ttuuxxx replaced it with Puppy 4.3.2-SCSI 2.6.30.5 full older modem support.

Am I misunderstanding something? It seems to me that this thread is rumbling along without knowing all the facts!

In order to easily save video streams it is necessary for me to
use a newer Puppy like Wary or Luci.

If not for that issue, I would still be using 4.xx only.

Ok it looks like its a go for this weekend as a start,
I'm not going to use woof, I'm going to manually edit the sfs and build the iso's.

For this project to work we will need dedicated people willing to go above and beyond the call of duty, Why you may ask? Because that's what I do, and if I don't feel like its a worthwhile project, why would I waste time going any further with it.
I don't play around with wireless, so if there are any wireless pro's out there, speakup.
Basically what I will do is provide an updated base that modern versions of seamonkey/firefox will work on.
Plus I'll update the "P" applications, I don't see a need to update things like geany,mtpaint, etc because they are very stable as they are and usually later versions are larger in file size. Lets keep this release small as possible.
I'll change the calulators, icons, etc clean up the looks and games maybe.
after that I think we should be ok. What do you guys think.

I am using an installation of your wonderful 432V3 for a long time now. Even managed to have Firefox 4.0 on /mnt/home plus Flash and the latest Java and additionally the newest Thunderbird. Surely you will know how to improve things, but it performs mighty good already.

serious networking problems (unable to connect) with my wireless adapter NETGEAR WG311v3 are worth of investigation, in fact this adapter works without pain in 3.01, 4.2.1 and in Puppy classic 2.14 Top5 (but not in top7) via ndiswrapper, but in ant Puppy version higher than 4.2.1, no way to go online

Another Things I thing, in long term, it is to begin to think to ipv6 support. I seen ipv6 module it is not in Puppy 4.3.1 kernel, but is is present in kernel sources
