I thought the GimpShop altered version of The Gimp was a Windows-only release. I'll have to check, though.

Edit: Okay, it looks like they have binaries for Windows and OS X, but only source for Linux. As I don't know which version of Puppy you're running, you might try starting with these forum search results.

With the psi.07 - i downloaded an gimpshop.pup for 3.01.
but that is real old and i don't think it would work with the newer pups?

on the gimpshop site there is a .deb. seems to work fine, but you may have to create a menu entry yourself if you want one.

The gimpshop.deb fails to install in Fluppy 013

Is some utility required to automatically port it to Fluppy 013 or do we have to wait for someone to compile it, please?

hi edoc

i unzipped the .deb using puppy's unzipper, added a menu entry and turned it into a pet. I tried it on fluppy13 and it seems to work fine. I can't really see that much difference between this and the regular gimp though.

you can download the gimpshop.pet here....

They make a big thing of duplicating the PrintShop interface - I
would not notice since I have only used Gimp for many years -
but I will see what our teens discover.

Thanks!
