Dependancy File:

Puppy Notes
I have chosen this version as it's stable.
This is a work in progress, not all tabbed functions are yet alive,
although what is already completed is more than enough reason
for it's use. I have added aspell into the pet although it can use
hunspell I had problems with that. In either case you need to
configure it for the ones you want to use by path after installation.
It is a qt application and will be one of those used for puppy58.

Drinking tea is the English proclivity. :)
Tried it out.
Surprised that qt was a 23MB download - big dependency for a text editor
The display of the interface was a little small by default.
I was intrigued by the spell checker - it seemed to underline everything.
It has vala syntax highlighting.
Not for me but may suit some with its special features.

Thanks for the cuppa . . . 8)

qt is a big download, but it doesn't only support tea and I want everything to use one version.

The version was built by another puppyan and suits a qt desktop called egg, which is my next sub-project to try and get up as well as other qt apps in my list. I'm hoping to use it (and jwm which I do still like) as the two default puppy58 desktops.

Tobias has just notified me that an update to tea has just been released, I shall wait a week or two, while the initial bugs disapear, then build that also as it has some of the gaps filled as well as a lot more bugs gone.

regards
scsijon.
