Amarok for Lucid Puppy 5.2.5
I cannot find any Amarok package for the download. The links from the past posts are dead. I'd like to install either Amarok, or Guayadeque.
Is there a way to remove the installed .deb packages from the installation?
Thanks in advance!

Edit: Replaced pet file with sfs here at this link
http://www.mediafire.com/file/ys2w2wnva ... ok-2.3.sfs
Same deal as pet file if you quit the program you need to restart x if you want to reopen it due to quit only hiding program as opposed to actually closing.

Just tried and it works fine on my 525 full install (I used my pet for it), however 01micko's is much smaller than mine so yea I'd recommend using his.

Try Clementine which is based on the code from Amarok 1.4 (prior to kde4).
I don't know if this is from the same source, as the one mentioned by charlie6, but it seems a bit smaller (49Mbytes):
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/dis ... k-sfs4.sfs
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/dis ... k-sfs4.sfs
There is no need to restart X, On Clementine you can right-click the icon in the system tray in order to exit the program totally. You can also choose Music -> Quit from the menu bar.Same deal as pet file if you quit the program you need to restart x if you want to reopen it due to quit only hiding program as opposed to actually closing.
See jim1911's link above to Clementine. One thing about Clementine that *should* make it more stable than amarok is that it does not need any KDE dependencies--only qt.
The problem is in the sfs of the 2.3 version
I have tested the Amarok versions in this thread in Lupu 525 on a MSI megabook notebook.
The problem seems to be in the Amarok 2.3 sfs
The older Amarok (1.4) versions work fine
...but hopefully a functional 2.3 for puppy will be released soon because the description looks very good:
