usb modem

hello

i tried the new lupu 525 and could not connect using a usb modem. after reading distrowatch's review on lupu 525, i dont feel that bad. the fix is way above my head. could one of you programmers help the people who use the usb modem to connect?

Do you have the modem working in any other versions of Puppy Linux.

i just got my usb modem and i had lupu 5.2 on a usb.

i started lupu 5.2 and it connected to the usb modem on first try.

then i did a shut down and when started lupu 5.2 again, i could not

connect anymore.

i thought about downloading lupu 5.2.5 and give it a try.

so far nothing.

Did you change anything after you first connected to the modem.

nope. just did a shut down when i was done checking out lupu 5.2.

i will check the forum in the morning, i live in the philippines and its

getting late.

fixed

the menu displayed /dev/ttyUSB0

it was really /dev/ttyUSB2

once changed - surf away.
