I'll be back!

#1 Post by Pizzasgood »

Gettin' ta be dat time o' year, eh? Tomorrow afternoon I'll be heading back to the land of lakes to spend summer with my dad. He doesn't have an internet connection out there on the farm, so I'll be away until August or so when I return. I'm going to be farming, working a summer job, and otherwise relaxing. I also plan to build a computer. I have the parts all worked out, so it's just a matter of getting my funds togeather to make the order. I'm also going to try doing some Puppy art, so today I downloaded the new Grafpup 104. Very nice, Nathan. Maybe you should mention that the squash filesystems need to be placed in /mnt/home/squash/ if you get the standard and add them to the harddrive. Other than that, the squash deal was excellent.

Anyways, you guys hang tight and keep up the good work while I'm gone. I expect a fully working Puppy 5.0 (or at the very least, 2.0) when I get back in August.

Yeah, I've been coding so hard on a few things I didn't get around to adding much documentation on squash. Will be doing so pretty soon. Thanks for the feedback.

Have fun, sounds like a good summer planned.

Hey Pizzasgood,

Have a great vacation. Don't spend too much time around the computer. I guess that there are enough friends and freundins (specially freundins) to have a good time.

Look forward to the art work :) Hope you have a great summer. I worked a couple of summers in France on the farms. First girlfriend - all that sort of thing:) How exciting. Have fun.

Autobiography

Well, your autobiography in relation to Puppy will surely be a great project to do this summer. You might even want to do comics/graphics about it.

You're a great symbol for Puppy (not to flatter you, just telling the truth), and your story should be an inspiration to many young people - perhaps I can help write it. :D

Live long & prosper our crustacean friend... (I know, it's a worn out expression).

Learn well the workings of a farm, for that may very well be most all of our futures, with a failing gov., economy, & all.
