Installation of Netgear NP544 W/less USB Adapter

Hi,sorry to trouble you with such a simple question,but, upon accessing the Wireless Wizard I am instructed to copy files from the XP Folder of the install disc of the adapter,only it doesn't state where to copy them to?.Also it says to load Perl,which is in /mnt/home/usr-dev.sfs--.but I can't even find the folder Home in the mnt directory.let alone usr-dev.sfs? Any suggestions for a complete newbie?.Thanks a lot-Vern
