Desktop Icons Greyed Out ?!!

Following a full HD install of the latest version of Puppy 5.2.5 some of the icons are grey (but working) on the desktop.

Can someone tell me how to restore the colour into them please ?

Try this:
menu->desktop->desktop settings->desktop icon switcher
Select some other icon set
See if that helps any.
May need to restart X server (menu->shutdown) to take effect.
