GIMP shows no units menu and no zoom button [SOLVED]

Hello, I have both LuPu 500 frugal and WinXP on my computer, and both have GIMP 2.6.8. In Windows, GIMP shows the units menu and the zoom button in the status bar, as explained here:http://docs.gimp.org/en/gimp-image-window.html: it's these two selectors at the bottom of the image window saying "px" and "50%" (in the example shown). It seems to be due to using a newer gtk version: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=94537 |
