Howto set the NumLock to on before the commandline login?

#1 Post by violazoli »

Hi, first, excuse me for the bad English, I am from Hungary, and have not enough good english knowledge.

I am a newby from puppy. (3 day...) I use this release:
http://www.browserloadofcoolness.com/pu ... SER-r3.iso

This is a "multiuser" distro, also must login, from commandline. My password have a few numbers, and I want the NumLock in "on" status at login, before the starting of X. I have installed numlockx prog. What should I now make?

Thanks!

Maybe run numlockx from /etc/rc.d/rc.local? (does it rely on Xorg?)
