Maybe called different in Enlightment, but know to me as system tray.
Glad to see I can position it to my favorite place, vertically at the left side.
But the info balloon of icons goes off the screen left. When positioned like this, the info balloon should be adapted and in this case start towards the right.

sszindian. Probably pwidgets shows correct information. You probably have installed the first alpha which uses 2.6.32 kernel.

Naming confusion
All of a sudden I remember that Barry announced a dpup squeeze 4992.

This one being 4991 might give confusion for the version naming logic.

Apart from 4991 having enlightning are there other differences?

Hey Iguleder I just booted dpup
e17 is default DE? Cool.
Plus browser and you even added xaos in under 100MB!
Runs smooth so far, but I'll have to try some games or stuff with dri, I can use mesa dri from squeeze repo?

BTW, do you need Sylpheed, opera has mail/chat, I think it should even handle torrents

Beem. /etc/rc.d/rc.shutdown is the right place. If your partition free space is under 512 mb, only ext2 savefile is possible.

Iguleder. When I switched back to the trinity icons. Mounted drive icons as pngoverlay style are working.
So somehow the it didnt work before I switched the icons and back.
Interesting.
Thanks pemasu, but I found the reason.
Normally my 2 HDD partitions are sdaX.
Here they are sdeX. Strange.
By selecting sdeX I could create a save file.

I had a USB flash plugged in, which has become sda1.

So something funny is going on with the device detection.
Now I booted without any USB device plugged in.
The 2 HDD partitions are now sddX.

Very annoying as I have scripts based on the logical naming sdaX.

Sure James.
I know, stupid question. Could have given that answer myself. Wink
But what if Iguleder brings out a 4992?

Still more confusing.

Beem. Next beta has version number 5.0.0.

Dejan555. Next beta has libgl1-mesa-dri preinstalled. If you install libgl1-mesa-dri from repo and also mesa-utils (if you want glxgears and glxinfo) it should work just fine.

I built next beta with Firefox 5.0.1 and with that libgl1-mesa-dri, and I stripped out goffice, gnumeric and abiword, added my laptop-tools-all (acpitool, acpid, frisbee, xbindkeys, xbindkeys-config, ppower), flsynclient and transparent conky.
And I stripped e17 also out. Heresy, I know, but I am simple man.

Iso 114 Mb with gzip compression.

I already installed dri but no luck, but it's not because of dpup build, my card and DRI doesn't work good on most recent pups.

I never used opera or e17 much before although I did make e17 package for some earlier pups but it's nice to see that Iguleder made something different then usual desktops. I know there's Macpup but I'd rather use Iguleder's squeeze build with e17. Hey I still haven't tried e17 on 485, that might work too! Smile

BTW if anyone has troubles installing flash for opera I can make pet with dependent libs included? I took them from seamonkey 2.2 package.

Nice work!

I have very little experience with enlightenment. In the create new icon dialog when I go to find an app the "go up a directory" button is grayed out. Is there a way to work around that?
