From Frugal to Multisession DVD: solved

#1 Post by Luxeon »

I have upgraded my frugal install from 5.25 to 5.28.

Now I would like to copy my pup-save files to a new 5.28 multisession DVD. Is this possible? (Of course, when I boot from the multisession DVD, it detects the files currently on the hard drive, so it acts like a live CD.)

Thanks,
Bob

Lexeon

Have look at remaster puppy live cd in
menu setup.
You must have an extx partition as I recall
and enough free space.
Then just chose multisession when you burn.

It's not to hard but you may have to play with it a little
to get what you want.

Have Fun I did!

Hint: multisession Puppy works great from any kind of rewritable DVD except DVD-RAM. Also, I have found Burniso2cd to be the simplest and most foolproof way to burn a multisession DVD (or CD). Pburn works well too.
