Not realy a bug but I think it needs fixing in future versions.
Orcon.net.nz my isp have changed the setup of their mail system so that now if you idenify as local-host you cant connect and send mail, receiving is still fine, and " not many people are affected" only mozilla mail, Mac OS 10.2, outlookexpress ver 5.??.?? and pupp the tech I spoke to thinks that this will become a common setup for other isp's as well. One solution for us is to change etc/hosts to not have the line 127.0.0.1 localhost puppypc mine now has 127.0.0.1 orcon are bastards and it seems to work Smile

Now is this likely to cause me other problems ? What should I set it to and can I delete the other lines 192.168.1.1 pc1 ? that computer is called shagger here. What is a better solution ?

I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to remove that line from /etc/hosts...would it affect any communications within applications on the local host or what not..
