Is there a reason that you don't want to buy another Brother?

Used HP Laserjet 1012s are inexpensive on ebay....so are the toner cartridges....may puppies support the printer. It is NOT color, so your cost per page is low.

I suspect that "used" means "out of toner". So you are looking at two purchases off the top. Personally, I would spend a few dollars more and buy a new printer. There is always some brand of laser printer OVERPRICED somewhere.

No, used does not always mean out of toner....one needs to read the listing. As far as "There is always some brand of laser printer OVERPRICED somewhere" goes....one should consider the overall cost per page, expected life of printer, cost of repairs and the availability of toner cartridges.

Many new lasers are shipped with a low capacity starter toner requiring purchase of a new cartridge earlier than expected.

A new printer may not be a bargain in the long run.

Look for your Samsung laser printer here.

Last time I looked, they offer the lowest-priced laser printer in town.
