Know everyone is trying to diagnose 1.0.2rc but I am having problems with xpaint. Will not let me choose a file to open and crashes if you try, however you can click on the pic file itself and xpaint opens it. "Save-as" crashes xpaint also.

Did somebody mention this somewhere during forum switching and I missed it? Or do I have problem unique to my install? Or does nobody use xpaint anymore? Nice as mtpaint is, xpaint still has some things its better at.

Yep, we know about that one!

There was a missing file:
/etc/X11/app-defaults/XPaint

I've attached it.
Hope it's alright -- I was messing around editing it.
