May make a difference.
I don't know.

Give me the .iso file link to download it.

Should never run a Monitor higher than it's native resolution.
And then why it works well while using winbug$? Could it be a privative driver?

I don't know.
When running xorgwizard and selecting resolution, it should give two options for 1024x768.
1024x768 16
1024x768 24

Using Puppy 4.3.1 try this:

Go here and get the Nvidia 71.86.11-K2.6.30.5-1 pet
http://www.revolutionvoice.com/NVIDIA-7 ... 30.5-1.pet
Download and install pet
Run xorgwizard to use this driver.
When using xorgwizard follow this guide
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=58810
When running xorgwizard in Puppy 4.3.1 you may have to use choose and not probe.

This should be the Nvidia driver that is made for your video card. It will run in Puppy 4.3.1 but not in other Puppies.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
YaPI(any iso installer)
