How to compile ATI video drivers?

Does someone have a link to a thread or a web pg. the explains the steps for compiling the ATI proprietary video drivers for Puppy distros?

I have searched up and down these forums, even found a poster that said he should post it, it's not as hard as people think, but nothing past that.

Any help would be appreciated. Thx.
