Do they know where you are ?
If your browser (wisely) blocks javascript your browser won't tell the Geolocation website the necessary info to work out where you are.rokytnji wrote:Thinking, Thinking. Loading, Loading. It seems it can't find me.
Apparently the location results are usually more accurate in Europe than in USA, (coz you have privacy laws in "the land of the free").
The location given can be spot-on or way-out (I'm in UK) ...

Can't a website still get a rough idea of your location by parsing the IP address, though?
