Hello again. I've been trying to get Puppy to work with Cooperative Linux. Co-Linux is a Windows daemon that claims to be able to run the Linux kernel side by side with the Windows kernel, with the same privilage level, without causing conflicts. You can point it at the root filesystem image of the distribution you want to use.
So, I pointed it at a freshly created pup_save.3fs file (renamed to puppy_root.3fs), then tried to run it. The kernel mounts the root OK:
VFS: mounted root <ext3 filesystem>
But then it gets stuck at:
Warning: Unable to open an initial console.
Kernel panic - not syncing: Cannot find init. Try passing an init= boot parameter.
Does anyone know what file I should point the kernel to for an initial console? Note: This is using the kernel supplied with the daemon (2.6.11) and the Puppy initrd.gz. Thanks.
Steven.
