I'm really happy this forum's back up and that now I have TWO places to get my "Puppy Fix" each day - tip of my hat to fellow puppian Raffy! YAY RAFFY!

Even moreso, however, I'm truly relieved to have read that you're okie John! For many of us that was our biggest concern and worry of all and we're glad that you're alright - there'll be many of us sleeping a bit easier tonight. No joke!

Good Health to All!

Worth the wait.
Gave me time to install slacks 5.28 on a T21 ThinkPad (2467-K1U) with 256 RAM and a Cisco PCMCIA wireless card, add FF8.01, Pwidgets and am having fun with this version of puppy. Now to browse the site for those tweaks that can only be found here.

Really glad you are back.

We owe a debt of gratitude to Jeremy and the other mods
at "linux questions.org" for dealing with a stampede of
panicked puppy fans;

and for dealing with the anti-murga-ites.

Msi Wind U100, N270 1.6>2.0Ghz, 1.5Gb ram.

Glad forums back, it's my home page and I got fed up with "server not found"

I run a modest private forum using phpbb forum. Where everyone is a member of the club before being allowed to use the forum.

Amazes me that I have to step in about twice a year to calm something down ! This when all members know each other !!

Seems being faceless has a lot to do with it. :?

2nded, though, I wonder quite why they let the antis have quite so much destructive power before banning

A lesson to be learned in going and feeding the trolls, though
I am trying hard to prevent similar from occurring at puppylinux.info

Is there something in the water.....?

Yes, I remain human :) It is a good thing that PuppyLinux came along as the Windows mess might have morphed me into a cyborg.

A great big southern-fried "thankee", John, for all the hard work and stuff.

Is the failover setup in place? I may have missed the announcement.

Hi Thom !
Just checked your site today to find it
The Puppy Linux Wayback Forum
Due to numerous attacks and little activity, I have removed the forum. Thanks to all that made posts.
