Dvorak Keyboard Not Working

#1 Post by bcwhite »

Version: Puppy 2.0.1 (SeaMonkey)

This is my first attempt at Puppy. Upon booting, I selected "dvorak" keyboard, but the console still works in "qwerty".

I started X and went through the unitilities to set the keyboard to "dvorak". X is still using "qwerty".

Did I miss something? Thanks!

After a reboot, you should find it working as you expect. I use the dvorak layout here as well.

That did it, thanks.

What confused me was the messages from the X keyboard wizard that said that it was now using the selected keyboard. It didn't say anything about requiring a reboot (with persistent store).
