Realplayer works swell with Puppy. Been using it for quite a while.

Mozilla

When I installed Realplayer Mozilla recognized it just fine. When you click on a movie link it asks if you want to save the file or play it (default) with realplayer.

I have a post explaining what I did to have RealPlayer it working with Opera

here it is for you to try.

Actually, I can now run the real player in Mozilla too.

Maybe I'm dense

I wish I understood the problem you guys are having. Just 10 minutes ago I deleted my pup1 file to be sure I was starting clean. Then I did this:

1) Booted Puppy and set up the ethernet wizard.
2) Used Mozilla to go to www.real.com
3) Downloaded realplayer (big orange button)
4) renamed it to com, set executable permissions and ran it.
5) Went into the RealPlayer folder and ran it to install
6) I'm now in Mozilla listening and watching realplayer stuff from the net.

No special tweaking. It just works.
Maybe I'm dense. What's the problem? When you click on a link you leave the download requester on the default of "Open with Realplayer" and it works.
What are you guys trying to do with realplayer?
