Mentioned Puppy in my new book

#1 Post by Ed Howdershelt »

During the holidays I had occasion to help a number of people with their computers. Most of the problems were related to trojans or viruses.
I chose a couple of the incidents as examples and wrote them up as a booklet.

Puppy Linux is VERY favorably mentioned, as is the Trinity Rescue CD.

It's a quick and simple how-to and it's a Kindle ebook at Amazon:
"When Your Computer has a FLAT"

I expect to send it up at Fictionwise tonight or tomorrow, but I don't know how soon it will appear on the shelves there.

sorrry to get off topic:
If your business or your happiness in life depends on a computer, spend the price of a beer and get this booklet.
$1.99 is cheaper than an beer. :)

The funniest thing is i'm using wifi at an bar now - less noise and people than the coffee shop.
Drinking an Soda - cheaper :)

$1.99 is cheaper than an Soda too. :)

Depends on what flavor of beer, I guess. I was in Europe for several years and learned what real beer is, so the overhyped brand names of barely alcoholic Kool-aid here in the US don't matter to me.

Wifi at my bars, too. Bud draft, $1.25. Sit back with the laptop or shoot pool. Leave before the noisy crowd arrives in the evening. Fave bar is ten miles away, a nice bike ride on twisty back roads. Or double the miles using highways and open up to make the pipes ring a bit. :)
