I noticed my free space was down about 100Mb,
and found “temp" audio files in .mhwaveedit going back a month, see attachments.
Deleting these has got me back my 100Mb.
I dunno how I managed to break it but may be relevant that each of these files was quite large: 10-40Mb, and some (all?) were in the FLAC format.

Hi,
i have the same version installed and improved that. Can not confirm.
Edit /root/.mhwaveedit/config.
"tempfilesFP = true" writes temp files - removed after closing mhwaveedit
"tempfilesFP = false" writes no temp files - and so there is no undo/redo
no temp files after closing mhwaveedit

I removed the old mhwaveedit/config file, and mhwaveedit automagically generated a new, much shorter one.RSH wrote: Edit /root/.mhwaveedit/config.

The old one did contain "tempfilesFP = true"
The new one doesn't, (it just contains "windowGeometry" and the names of recently played audio files).
So far no problems, (no temp files accumulating)

Ooops, I meant to put this post in the other topic.greengeek wrote:Thanks Barkin. I have now deleted those temp files and will wait to see what happens.Partview now shows orange instead of red, so some progress there.Barkin wrote:I removed the old mhwaveedit/config file, and mhwaveedit automagically generated a new, much shorter one.
