HTML5 as Default youtube player
Most of the video in the web that we see are in you tube.
Flash player has a lot of thecnical problemem.
You tube offers now the videos -also in HTML5 mode.
Puppy linux is able to decode HTML5 them by default.
Would be nice that new installed puppy will not requires flash install, and still will be able to show youtube videos.
Would be nice also that the browser will prefere html5 version of the video.
At the moment thi is possible ounly trou a youtybe kookyes from this page; http://www.youtube.com/html5 .
I did not find any way to swich automatically to html5.
I think it is possible to set up the borowser ( I use ff ) in some way that it will redirect to html5 youtube videoos, instead of flash. I did not find a addon of FF for that.
Any suggestion?
Is really a good idea?

i remember seeing scripts for midori to do what you ask.. but i knew it was easier for me to find this for you
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... src=search
edit- you should be able to use this in midori or with ff with greasemonkey
