I was having problems with Google Chrome, Chromium and Opera so I decided to junk the whole lot and head back to Seamonkey from Quick Pet.
I was pleasantly surprised that Seamonkey 2.4 is able to use the online ebook reader from amazon. read.amazon.com. That was my reason for seeking the use of Google Chrome originally. Apparently Seamonkey 2.4 must have implemented HTML5 on which the amazon reader is based I guess.
