Textures Pack

#1 Post by dejan555 »

Hey people I have something for you here!
When bored I sometimes go crazy shooting some abstract bokeh/macro/etc photos with my camera I don't know what to do with them so I guess they could be used for making wallpapers so I made this pack with 17 different abstract photos (1200x800) , you can toss them in gimp and puppify with logo or mix more of them or use as layers to create textures you couldn't do with gimp digitally.

I mixed some of them and added puppy logo and created sample wallpaper .xcf file with layers kept which I included in archive (hence the pack size) so you can play further with it in gimp.
Bring up layer dialogue then try adjusting layer modes, opacity, visibility, colorize or invert layer colors and see how many different versions of this sample wallpaper you can get. I won't show you my final render just yet!

If you like these I'll probably add more photos when I have something to post and you can also post your unpuppified resources, stock images etc. in this thread or share gimp scripts and techniques you use so we can all learn to make better puppy artwork
