Currently using an ATI Video which has limited functions.

Would like to navigate to a used NVidia card that support OpenGL properly and uses the Xorg functions more completely.

Any suggestions for Video card candidates that fit these needs.

It's impossible to specify a video card without knowing the PC specs...
Is the video going in AGP, PCI, or PCIe slot?
Size of ram also affects performance for videocards, though I believe all Nvidia cards back to 2005 run OpenGL

specs, please, and rough budget, new or used?
