grrrr . . . ..

Pianobar above is broken right now (Pandora changed something). Apparently there is a new version of pianobar, but my efforts to compile it fail.

And the ubuntu / debian repos haven't been updated yet.

If somebody who runs ubuntu/debian wants to compile a .deb and then turn it into a pet (and post it here), that seems like the way to go.

Anybody wanting a client to run Pandora without flash?

I had been using pianobar to do this, but lately its not working.

One option apparently is to run pandora saver2.
Saving pandora music isn't my sort of thing, but this does allow you to do it.

instructions for running from wine:
http://ridetheclown.com/s2/docs/wineinst.html

edit: I should say that installing all the necessary components for wine will make the wine file pretty big. I recommend moving the wine file outside your savefile to mnt/home and then linking back to root.

Despite all this, the program runs pretty light once its all installed.
