Then again, I've said for quite a while that someone else should develop a third-party Flash implementation for Linux, as Macromedia/Adobe seemed not to care about the existing crappy Flash plugin for Linux as it was. Maybe that would be an incentive for someone to try. Okay, how does that compare to Adobe's Linux version of Flash at the moment, though? (Not that I have a high opinion of Adobe's Flash for Linux at the moment, of course.) At least those "kill the fly" ads seem to have dwindled, along with those ads that yell, "Congratulations! You've won!" and only seem to appear at two-thirty in the morning, when you're not expecting anything to suddenly blare from your speakers... 
Flash games, on the other hand... well, I still had some of those be unexpectedly loud really late at night. But I'd much rather hear those, than the ads. Before my family kills me for making too much noise, that is. 
Ah, rambling nostalgia.

I remember vaguely that youtube wrote somewhere they try to have a lot of their files using a new format not adobe flash so that could be html5 then? What else could it be. How can one test or find such file to see if Puppy and the browser can take it. Iron browser try to be a Chrome without the google spy things but that makes Iron way behind the updates? And some say it has a German spy in it instead

There is no immediate urgent problem. Quote from h-online.com: Adobe will discontinue the availability of direct downloads of the Flash Player for Linux, but says it will continue to provide security updates for the non-Pepper versions of Flash Player 11.2 for Linux for five years after its release. Flash Player 11.2 for Linux has not yet been released. ...Of course there's an immediate problem. The Linux version of Flash is terrible.

Well, yes. - but it is not a new problem. Hopefully, Adobe's decision will speed the move to HTML5.
