I am sure this has been addressed somewhere in the forum, but, will the beta be apply itself automatically in, say, SLACKO or RACY?

Seamonkey 2.72 that is in Slacko 5.3.2.4 and now in 5.3.2.6 did not auto update for me. I deleted Seamonkey Lib in 5.3.2.4 and also in 5.3.2.6, then installed 2.8 beta 3 and so far works for me
