Presage: An intelligent predictive text entry platform.

#1 Post by disciple »

Out of interest (I type quickly, so wouldn't use it myself) I had a look around for programs to do predictive typing. This one looks to be the best:

Somebody would find it useful :)

I compiled it, for FatDog64, and it is only a backend library for predictive text. It does include some demo programs. You failed to mention what version you were looking for it on. If the answer is FatDog64, then follow the link in my signature. If not, then tell me what version and I'll get to it sometime soon.

Sorry - I'm not actually looking for a package for Puppy, I was just suggesting other people might be interested in it. My main system runs Arch Linux these days, so I have tried it on that.

Yeay, that's why I also included a link to the page on the demo programs.
The demo programs include basic text editors and an "Assistive Technology Service Provider Interface" which can apparently be used by other applications like Geany (I guess they need to be recompiled...). I would have thought the demo programs would be enough.

Alright. I don't need it, but maybe someone else will. I figured since it was in the PET request forum you were wanting it made into a PET.

Unfortunately there's only a PET "Requests" section, not a PET "Suggestions" section... and there's such a diversity of Puppies in use (no real "standard Puppy" to package everything for) that I'm not really motivated to randomly package interesting things that I find anymore.
