Will Puppy work on a SATA drive?

#1 Post by sonic67 »

hello all,
I'm new to Linux and Ive been playing around with different Linux distros on my computer. i had these 2 distros on my computer when i changed my hard drives from ide to sata. when i reinstalled my other distros everything went ok except for legacy i haven't tried puppy yet seeing how i thought they were close to being the same. so i guess my question is can they be installed on sata drive and if so how to get them to see the drives. thanks for any help.

Just suggest you use one of the newer Puppies.
Something version 5 series.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
YaPI(any iso installer)
