Beginner i am afraid. MY wifi usb is prodid 2070; tried various pet files which sem to load but unable to scan for any networks. The usb works fine in win xp? What am i doing wrong here? Confused

I think it should be using RT2870...
Try running the network wizard, after booting pfix=ram, as your old save files may affect it
