Hey guys!
Is there any way to include RSH's packages to ibiblio or any official servers? Which supports resume and the packages ultimately come into later PPM default list.

I've no idea who maintains Ibiblio and what's the procedure to introduce new apps there...

Perhaps you could ask Admins/Mods or put this question in another section, maybe "Misc"..? (to make it more "noticeable" )

No idea really...

Greetings!

Thank you escape, but I think that's too much of honor. Ok, ibiblio, if the pets do work, why not? In the PPM, if the pets do work, why not?

These programs surely could be useful for others.

But RSH's packages...

Let me tell you, how I see things:

To build pets surely is work and takes time - sometimes a lot. But in fact of using existing files there is nothing else but put together something that is already present in individual share.

Even if you work with source code and compile programs you are using existing material/code.

All this shall find compliance (?) and not to be spoken to a "less size" at all.

But i think, no, i am convinced, the real heroes are the programmers who worked amazing ideas into program code, and made possible all subsequent (art)works.

Edited: believe me, because i am a programmer. I have written a dtp score editor in the mid 1990's on AtariST (Pascal, more than 75.000 lines source code, all and everything out of my head). Unfortunately i can not trasform my old pascal knowledge in to free pascal or shellscript, to were able to get to the same results.

Though, thank you for your kind words in this thread...

The installation instructions detailed on the previous page work well for me, thanks for that!
Now, I tried Ardour 3 recently, and failed. It was a piece of piss to install (just ./ install.sh if I remember correctly) and everything worked to the point it was time to actually record something. It simply refused to do that and froze instead. I wonder if it is too big for puppy (???) or if it is a beta-stage bug?
