Puppy is an operating system right? Everyone knows what an operating system is right? Embarassed
Or do they? Idea
An operating system allows you to run software on your computer.
That is it.
Run software. Rolling Eyes
The job of an operating system is not to run an operating system
but to run software.

I am not going to tell you why MS Windows does not operate. You have been down that road . . . Sad

Puppy loads.
On the desktop is software.
Files to access your software saves.
A browser, A WP, A paint program. A spreadsheet. Communication. Planning. Playing music and films.

Sometimes we need to remember.
Puppy runs software. Very Happy

But Puppy is so much more than just an operating system. He is a way of life. A religion for some (yes - I've seen your posts Wink).
He is also missing (presumed dead?) Sad
But he lives on in our computers, bringing joy and functionality to multitudes... and we won't forget him.
