How to use Huawei Mobile Partner 3G Modem?

I would like to use Huawei Mobile Partner for Linux in any of Puppy variant. However, I don't have enough knowledge to install tar.gz file. Even though, I have tried to install the same as per installation note given "readme" file. Unfortunately, the same was not proper and not lounging the application. May be due to some dependency problem or structure. I would be very grateful to you all if you could make Pet from tar.gz. On hearing from you all, I will upload the tar.gz for making Pet file. kindly test the pet file. If need some missing item, please incorporate the same with your pet. I am eagerly awaiting your help in this regard. Mobile partner is very useful. We can check prepaid balance and data usage. Moreover, it has SMS and voice call facilities etc. Therefore, kindly do something. Thanks in advance |

I want just like Mobile partner software working in Microsoft Windows XP software. In order check the prepaid value or data usage I have to remove the SIM from data card and insert to Mobile phone. If we have Huawei Mobile Partner in Puppy, we can check everything in Puppy itself. No need to switch over to windows. You may please not that I am now using the 3g modem with dial up / PGPRS connect in Puppy Linux. However, If I am able to install Mobile partner property, I can use it for many purpose. Like voice call, SMS, USSD, etc. Now everytime I have switch over to Microsoft for knowing the balance or sending SMS etc. On hearing from you, I will uplod the tar.gz for creating compatible PET package.
