Strange in the Toutou
Si je vais au traitement de texte et que je demande l'impression. Je vois HPOFFICE ready, ce n'est pas pour cela qu'il y a une impression.

Puis Valider?: error "smb client-NL" : aucun fichier de ce type
Enter: idem
Run in terminal emulator: idem

nothing, si on valide un écran passe très vite avec des init
Essai reprint job: état: en attente , deuxième Job ici l'utilisateur n'est pas root mais anonymous Etat en cours depuis le (maintenant).
On cancelle les jobs.
A imprimante Print Test page, il demande le nom et le mot de passe pour "CUPS" à http://localhost:631
La page a été envoyée.
A imprimante état arrêté et "Unable to open file "/var/spool/cups/d00008-001" Permission denied"
On revient à Serveur: erreur: Permission denied (j'avais demandé l'enregistrement des informations de debug)
Je refais tourner le cups-patches 1.0
Je vais à Adlinistration, Serveur, Change settings: il me demande le mot de passe et il accepte le changement!
Les jobs ont disparu
Relancer print Test Page : demande le nom et le mot de passe pour "CUPS" à http://127.0.0.1:631
Il dit qu'il imprime puis "Connection to USER-E850932DZB failed (Error NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME"

Avez-vous fait le réseau installé sur cette machine ?
Lors de la création du réseau, les imprimantes ont été partagées.
Si le réseau est fait avec le Pentium III en Win 98 2 SE, je sais imprimer sur la HP 6300 qui est raccordée au PC XP par un câble USB:
L'information ci-dessous indique que HPOffice est bien dans le réseau.
Il manque les captures d'écran, je joins le texte en Word

Find the IP address of the XP machine.
In Puppy, type the command

where aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd is the XP machine's IP address.
Does it find the HPOFFICE printer?

HP 6410 en WIFI avec Toutou Retro |

A THEUX (6310) j'utiliserai Utilitaires Console : Rxvt et je referai les tests demandés. J'ignorais cette commande.
Actuellement je suis à Bressoux (6410)
J'ai monté les programmes:
foomatic-filters-4.0.i486.pet
hpijs-3.10.6-dynppd.pet
smbw_cups_backend-1.3.pet
L'imprimante montée en USB sur le PC XP, peut aussi (en même temps si l'on veut) marcher en WIFI. L'adresse IP est 192.168.0.167
J'ai ajouté une imprimante
HPOJ6410WIFI
BRESSOUX
HP Officeprinter J6410 en Wi Fi 192.168.0.167
Ecran suivant, je n'ai pas HTTP, mais dans la liste :
HP OFFICEJET J6400 series 192.168.0.167 (HP Officejet J6400 series)
Je prends
Dans les imprimantes à HP, je choisis la série 6000 (il n'y a pas de 6400)
Pour pouvoir changer à Administration Serveur, je dois installer cups-patches-1.0.pet
Je lance une page de test et l'imprimante imprime la page et en couleur.
HPOJ6410WIFI
Description : HP Office printer J6410 en Wi Fi 192.168.0.167
Lieu : Bressoux
Marque et modèle : HP Officejet 6000 e609n hpijs, 3.10.6
État de l'imprimante : ne fait rien, accepte les tâches, publique.

Il reste un essai: le réseau Windows:
Ici le PC a un nom CXP
L'adresse IP est 192.168.0.194, mais elle ne sera pas utilisée
L'imprimante en partage est HPOJ6410
J'utilise Samba:
smbw://CXP/HPOJ6410
Dans HP toujours la série 6000 (ou 600?) hpijs (en) (les noms bougent lorsqu'on revient en modification pour visualiser)
Print Page test
Et cela marche et en couleur
HPOFFICEJ6410

Donner un nom à l'ordinateur pour éviter le trait: user-..., par exemple "THEUX"?
Tester ce qui a été demandé comme smbclient........

Avantage du CUPS avec Toutou (RETRO) par rapport au réseau Windows avec un XP et un Win 98: le fichier d'installation étant trop gros l'installation HP est simple. Il n'y a pas de couleur et on doit annuler sur la HP après l'impression car le programme n'a pas finalisé.
Ici aucun problème. Un test avec un document et plusieurs couleurs a été imprimé parfaitement au départ de l'ordinosaure, un Pentium III de 1998 avec 128 MB de Ram.

CUPS with Toutou (RETRO) compared to the Windows network favours with a XP and a Windows 98: the file of installation being too large the HP installation is simple. There is no color and one must cancel on HP after the impression because the program did not finalize.
Here no problem. A test with a document and several colors was perfectly printed at the beginning of ordinosaure, Pentium III of 1998 with 128 MB of RAM.
