Transfer to the BSD License Subject description: transition project |
|
Hi Guys,
I am now able to announce some of the plans for the
transfer of Puppy to a BSD License:
Some of the code produced will now be restricted to
usage ONLY by Apple and approved partners.
Saluki will become our first transition project
whilst developers are contacted over obtaining
reduced pricing on development kits.
The Puppy Foundation will now be part of the transition committee.
Thank you to everyone involved in the transfer to this
new opportunity for Puppy.
Any questions please email me at:

April's Fool or no, the Puppy Foundation could indeed make a bundle if Puppy went with the BSD licence.

The joke is that puppy doesn’t have a license. Not any license that will ever be enforced.
